The most persuasive evidence in trading is also the emptiest
A signal seller posts: *"Round 1 — 150 pips ✅. Round 2 — 400 pips ✅. Round 3 — 220 pips ✅."*
Three wins. A screenshot from the platform. It looks like proof.
It is not evidence of anything, and the reason is worth understanding precisely, because the same gap appears in every version of this claim.
What the screenshot leaves out
The losers. Nobody is obliged to post them, and nobody does. Ten trades where three won and seven lost produces exactly this screenshot if you show only three.
The position sizes. "150 pips" is not money. 150 pips on 0.01 lots is $15; on 5 lots it is $7,500. Without size, a pip count says nothing about whether the account grew.
The account. A demo account produces identical screenshots to a live one. So does a $200 account and a $200,000 one.
The other accounts. Ten accounts trading opposite directions guarantees that roughly half show winners. Screenshot those five.
The timing. A screenshot taken while a trade is 200 pips up says nothing about where it closed.
