Build one repeatable trading plan
Write all seven components of a plan in objectively checkable language Apply the stranger test to find rules that are actually feelings Express stop and target as rules that output distances, not fixed distances Explain why one system run 300 times beats four run 75 times each
Backtesting — prove it before you risk it
State what a backtest can and cannot establish Use bar replay to eliminate hindsight, and include costs in every result Avoid optimisation, single-regime testing and undersized samples Progress through backtest, forward test and half size before full risk
The journal: your unfair advantage
Record the six fields that exist nowhere else, and omit everything else Write the reason before entry and the rest immediately on close Split expectancy by adherence and by emotion to locate specific habits Separate weekly behaviour review from monthly system review
The psychology of execution
Explain why the gap between knowing and doing is about conditions, not knowledge Reduce the number of live decisions rather than trying to improve them Use pending orders and a closed platform as a structural fix Keep three absolute rules that require no in-the-moment judgement
Final challenge
Answer all 12 questions. You need 10 of 12 correct to unlock the certificate — 2 can be wrong. Retakes are unlimited, so take your time.
